This Code Gorilla has an interest in (and an opinion on) many things: Web design & Web Accessibility, Perl & java, (Institutional) Repositories, User Identity, hardware & kewl technology… to name just a few.
One of the best compliments I have received so far is to be identified as “a free thinker” by JISC, and it still tickles me pink when I go to a conference somewhere and people recognise me, even before I open my mouth
I’m not here to post as “me at work”, but “me as me… a person with thoughts, ideas, opinions – even if they differ from the main stream… or the Party line.
When not sat in front of a computer, I can be found under a land rover, spanners in oily hands; out on a hillside, winching myself out of a ditch I failed to spot whilst exploring; or running a motorsports event (where I tend to be known as Pilot Custard)
